Yesterday, eight Saint David’s teachers (and one friend) got together to make bagged lunches for Yorkville Common Pantry to distribute to people impacted by Hurricane Sandy. They made 52 lunches, each including two sandwiches, a granola bar, juice box, and some Halloween candy.
They are being delivered to the YCP today, and they are giving whatever leftover food they had to the parents who are making more lunches for the YCP this week.
This is just one example of many of the Saint David's community pulling together to support their neighbors post Sandy. There are lots of ways to help. Visit our Relief page for ideas.
