Fourth Graders Support The Seeing Eye

Room 22 was transformed into a delightful, aromatic bakery yesterday, the site of the Pennies for Puppies bake sale. A long-standing, signature service campaign in our fourth grade, Pennies for Puppies supports The Seeing Eye foundation.

This year's project began last month when the class visited The Seeing Eye facility in Morristown, New Jersey. They learned about the foundation's work training Seeing Eye dogs and how their efforts can make a difference. The boys returned eager to do all of the work involved in planning, advertising and hosting a bake sale fundraiser.

The crowds at the sale throughout the day pointed to a very successful endeavor. Doing good not only feels good, but it can taste good, too!
