Welcome to the Headmaster's Blog where you'll find updates, thoughts, and events regarding Saint David's School, the education of boys, and other items of interest. This is by no means meant to be a complete account of all that happens at Saint David's. Please refer to the school's website for more complete details -- it's more a Headmaster's musings.

From Kalina

ECCD Classroom Activities (PreKindergarten)

I've just received these photos from Saint David's Kalina School in Tigray, Ethiopia.

The school Saint David's boys built in partnership with Save the Children and the government of Ethiopia now features our original administration block, a block of four classrooms, two separate latrines for boys and girls, an Early Childhood Care and Development Center (with two classroom blocks) and, most recently, a water point with clean water and a newly added upper primary block with two additional classrooms allowing the school to now teach through the 8th grade.

This spring is filled with continuing fundraising activities by the boys for Saint David's Kalina School.

Our annual Are You Smarter Than an Eighth Grader quiz show will take place on May 15. The boys have already already held two walk-a-thons, with a third scheduled for May 25, and they will hold a tee shirt sale later in May.

I am proud of our boys' enthusiasm and commitment to Kalina.
